City of Clearwater to Co-Host 3-Day Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration
Clearwater, FL – June 1, 2025 – The City of Clearwater, in partnership with the Clearwater Urban Leadership Coalition, is excited to announce a special 3-day Juneteenth celebration.
The celebration begins on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at 2:00 pm with The Gospel Experience: Special Father's Day Edition at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church - Matheos Hall, 409 S. Old Coachman Rd. This event will include a special tribute to fathers with the all-male Suited for Sunday Fashion Showcase. The Tri-County Fellowship Gospel Choir will lead us in soulful song along with some of Tampa Bay’s most talented musicians. Food for the soul will be provided by 1st Lady Catering. Tickets are $20, which includes the program and dinner.
On Monday, June 16, 2025, at 1:00 pm, join us at Countryside Library, 2642 Sabal Springs Drive, for the Lunch & Learn. Dr. Anthony E. Dixon will present a lively and insightful presentation celebrating African American Freedom Day. This event is FREE, open to the public and includes refreshments. The celebration concludes on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 6:00 pm at Artz 4 Life Academy, 1751 Kings Hwy, Clearwater, FL 33755 with the popular "Painting with a Purpose" event. Participants will engage in artistic expression on canvas while enjoying food, wine, music, and fellowship. Tickets are $20, which includes all program supplies, drinks and refreshments.
