Ages 2-3. An active story time designed for toddlers. Each week we will explore a new theme with fun songs to dance to and sing, lots of movement, and stories.

Literacy tutors and students practice conversational English for beginners.

Coloring promotes relaxation, wellness and it stimulates the brain areas that are related to motor skills, senses and creativity. Materials provided.

Help your preschooler get ready to read! Join us weekly for a fun, interactive, early literacy program designed for children ages 3 to 5. Build language skills while enjoying stories, songs, crafts, and more. We encourage active participation from accompanying adults.

Ready your child for the preschool experience with interactive story time followed by ""After Hours Book Club"" for older participants! Stories and crafts.

Materials are provided, but space is limited, so registered today. Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may be restricted from participating and registered spots may be given to someone on the waiting list. Repeated late arrivals and a repeated failure to notify staff of cancellation in advance may result in a restriction from participating in future programs.

Your child will be utilizing creativity and problem-solving techniques as they choose from our three available options. High school students will offer homework help in math, science, and reading. Children will draw on their imagination in choosing a make-and-take scrap craft workshop, as well as inventing new structures in the block play zone. Watch for special Mad Science registration workshops.

Every first and third Thursday come for video games, board games, and trading card games. Gaming consoles and board games provided. Bring your own trading card decks and handheld gaming devices.

The Clearwater Main Library, located at 100 N. Osceola Ave., will open its rooftop terrace every Tuesday starting November 5, 2019 and ending Tuesday March 3, 2020, 30 minutes before sunset, weather permitting, for those who wish to get a great view of Clearwater's spectacular sunsets and its beautiful harbor. Sunset watchers are requested to arrive at the library a few minutes early and gather at the foot of the grand staircase on the first floor before proceeding to the roof. Every drawing class requires separate registration. You are not registering for a series of classes. Registration opens on the 1st of the month (except New Year’s Day) for that month's classes. Come and learn to draw like a pro! Shawn Dell Joyce has been teaching drawing and painting classes for many years in New York and now spends her winters in Florida. Even if you've never drawn before, we guarantee that you will leave with a basic understanding and hopefully a new love for drawing. 

Practice a foreign language and experience real language and cultural exchange. One -on-one conversation is a great way to learn to speak a new language. You'll Spend half the time teaching someone to speak your language and the other half learning a new one. Join us at our upcoming language exchange meetings to practice your favorite foreign language and learn something new about another culture.
