In order to respond to the developing threats posed by the virus COVID-19, and in coordination with ongoing emergency actions by the federal, state, and local governments and with the city of Clearwater’s declared emergency. Starting March 28th thru April 10th, 2020, the City of Clearwater is shutting down all non-essential operations. Some offices will be open but functioning with reduced staff to provide essential services. All Clearwater libraries are closed. All due dates, holds, and expirations will be extended and no fines will accrue through the closure. All book drops and drive-thrus are also closed. However, if patrons cannot hold onto their borrowed items until libraries reopen, they may return them to the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative office, located at 1330 Cleveland Street, Clearwater, FL 33755-5103 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
