Bright Futures scholars assist elementary-aged children with their homework and reading. Call to reserve a 30-minute session up to one week in advance. Walk-ins will be accommodated on a space-available basis and may be limited to 20 minutes.

We will be making a pillow. If you have made a pillow before and are not a beginner, please save the spot for someone who has never taken this class before. Come to the Creation Studio @ Main and learn how to use a sewing machine and sew a small project! Adults and young adults only please. All materials are provided, but space is limited.
Beginners only. If you have taken three or more beginner sewing classes at the library, you will only be permitted to sign up for the intermediate sewing classes. Intermediate classes are restricted to patrons who have taken at least 3 beginner sewing classes.

The Clearwater Main Library, located at 100 N. Osceola Ave., will open its rooftop terrace every Tuesday starting November 5, 2019 and ending Tuesday March 3, 2020, 30 minutes before sunset, weather permitting, for those who wish to get a great view of Clearwater's spectacular sunsets and its beautiful harbor. Sunset watchers are requested to arrive at the library a few minutes early and gather at the foot of the grand staircase on the first floor before proceeding to the roof. You'll Spend half the time teaching someone to speak your language and the other half learning a new one.
