Program Description
American Mah Jongg is a fun and challenging four player game that provides great mental stimulation along with positive social interaction. It is a wonderful way to make new friends and improve memory and strategic thinking.
This 4-week class (Wednesdays in March beginning 3/6/24) taught by Bernadette Preston is designed for beginners and those needing a basic refresher. It will cover the National Mah Jongg rules and fundamentals of this rummy-like game that is played with tiles rather than cards. Each week patrons will learn different aspects of the game; please be prepared to attend all 4 weeks when you register. Registration required. Registration preference will be given to individuals who have not taken this class previously; if you register having already taken this class, your spot will be given to a new student if the class becomes full.
