Program Description
We’re pulling back the curtain on our favorite musical theatre composers and lyricists! Join us at Countryside Library on the 2nd Wednesday of each month to learn about a different musical theatre writer and the inspiration behind their musicals.
- September 10: Rodgers and Hammerstein
- October 11: Stephen Sondheim
- November 12: Andrew Lloyd Webber
- December 10: Howard Ashman and Alan Menken
Learning Objective: Patrons will gain cultural literacy and learn about the history of American musical theatre.
