Program Description
Join us for a live performance as performing artist-in-residence for the Museum of Fine Arts, Nan Colton, brings to life major Abstract Expressionist painter Lee Krasner. Krasner made bold, graphic canvases that embraced a cut-up collage style and bright, gestural brushwork. She shared an interest in rhythm and the material properties of paint with her husband, Jackson Pollock. In this presentation, Lee Krasner discusses poetry in paint, and how her legacy has had a lasting effect on the art community and the world. Registration is not required, but space is limited and will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.
