Program Description

Join your favorite Librarian, Keith Law, in the Heritage Studio for an educational presentation into some of history's most famous and fascinating people.

This month's lecture is on the remarkable life of Queen Liliʻuokalani, the last reigning monarch of the Kingdom of Hawaii. A woman of immense grace and resilience, Queen Liliʻuokalani was a visionary leader, talented musician, and staunch advocate for Hawaiian culture and independence. Her reign, tragically cut short by political upheavals, left an indelible mark on the history of Hawaii.
